The 2024 KTM Duke 990 was unveiled at the EICMA 2023 which was held at Milan, Italy. It will succeed it last launch of KTM 890 R. The super bike will have engine of 974cc with DOHC liquid-cooled parallel twin engine. It will be launched in market by December 2023.
The bike has an RPM of 95,000 with Horse Power of 121.4 and will be available in all time favourite color “Electric Orange”.
KTM Duke 990 Engine
The bike has an engine of 974CC with DOHC liquid-cooled parallel twin engine which will give you Horse Power of 121.4hp and torque of 103Nm. As in earlier bike this time also there is a bigger radiator for greater airflow and to remain bike cool at higher speed and does not let the bike to heat up rapidly. It has 6 speed transmission to give you a great speed.
KTM has made significant changes to the new edition of Duke such as the lightweight of the bike with a stainless steel exhaust system with a great sound. Changes have been made to camshaft and valve ports. The handling of the bike is improved as the rotating mass have been increased.
Modes
Bike comes with six types of mode to ride in different situation. So the rider can adjust its riding experiences according to the weather, the way you want to ride wether its slow or fast.

Body
The fuel tank size of the bike has been increased to 3.8 Gallon or 14.8 litre and new sporty look has been given to it. The handle of the bike can be adjusted easily. The seating style of bike is changed so as to keep the rider stable while driving. The tail size of the bike has been reduced and the rear tyre is clearly visible and no space for license plate is provided but by adding accessories the plate can be added.
The rear seat height is also increased as compared to 890. The seat design is made in a such a way that the bike vibration can’t reach the rider and the passenger as use of aluminium with rubber is used to absorb the vibrations.

The bike will be launched with a base price of $12,500 and for Indian Market the base price will be ₹1040434.275 INR but there are no plan for the bike yet to be launched in the Indian market. The actual price/on road price/ Ex showroom prices are not yet decided.
